Educational Qualifications
• First class bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade
• Second class Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade
• Chartered/Cost Accountant/Company Secretary (ACS) with a Bachelor’s Degree
• Post Graduate Diploma in Management
Age Limit
• Minimum 21 years of age and maximum 30 years.
• Relaxation in upper age limit for the candidates of reserved categories.
Examination Pattern
(i) Objective Test
The exam pattern expands over a written test and interview.
Written Test- It consists of an objective test as well as Descriptive test out of which the objective test comprises of 300 marks and 2½ hour duration.
• Reasoning Ability- 100 questions carrying 175 marks
• Quantitative Aptitude- 50 questions carrying 75 marks
• General Awareness- 50 questions carrying 25 marks
• English Language- 50 questions carrying 25 marks
All these comprise of four papers which make the students go through 250 questions and 300 marks.
The objective test except for the test of English Language will be printed in Hindi and English. Wrong answers will be resulted in negative marks and candidates need to secure a minimum of 30% in each of the above paper, subject to a total average of 40%.
(ii) Descriptive Test
5 compulsory questions with internal options for 100 marks within a duration of one hour and the candidate gets the option to answer in Hindi or English.
(iii) Interview
Only those candidates who have secured the minimum qualifying marks from written test (i.e descriptive as well as objective) shall be called for interview in the ratio of 1:3 (1:5 in case of reserved categories) depending upon their ranking as per the marks obtained by them in objective tests.
Final Selection is done on the basis of merit ranking arrived as in objective test and interview.
