Over here resonance comes into effect.....

ClO4- is the most stable anion ( having 4 resonating structures )

Also,

we can xplain it in this way that ...

More no. of O bonded to Cl , more e- will b pulled frm O-H bond ...

n so the bond wil bcum more weak

HClO4 wil req the least energy to break the O-H  bond

n so it will b the strongest acid

Answer is C

Coz methyl group is in equatorial position wic is more stable as compared to axial position

Also,

along a period, as the basic strength increases, nucleophilic strength too increases  (like H2O < NH3)

where as down a group ,  increasing nucleophilic strength decreases basic strength ( R3N < R3P)

guys...these r preparation of primary amines

R C=O - NH2   -------(i) LAH (ii) H3O+ --------->>>  RCH2NH2

and Sn/HCl is used with nitroalkane ( R-NO2) wic gives a primary amine too

Put it this way

Let 6 men b seated around the table in 5! ways

6 positions btw them

W1 can occupy any of thez 6 positions in 6 ways

wen W1 has occupied her position 5 postions left......fr W2 to occupy

so W2 -- 5 ways

W3--- 4 ways

...n so on

tats how it comes to 5! x 6 x 5 x 4 x 3 x 2

p-nitrophenol is more volatile coz of intermolecular H-bond.

ortho-nitrophenol has intramolecular H-bond

@ sachinguptaiit

probably in the second case  a = 2g

net force acting on the mass = 2mg

so accn of mass m = 2mg / m = 2g

 A rigid bar with rollers of weights P = 222.5 N and Q = 445 N at its ends is supported inside a circular ring in a vertical plane as shown in the diagram . The radius of the ring and the length AB are such that radii AC and BC form a right angle at C ; that is alpha + beta = 90 degress. Neglecting friction and weight of the bar , find the configuration of equilibrium as defined by angle (alpha - beta )/2 that makes with the horizontal . Find also the reactions Ra and Rb and the compressive force S in the bar.

Two rollers P & Q are connected by a flexible string DE and rest on 2 mutually perpendicular planes AB & BC , as shown in diagram . Find graphically the tension in the string joining the 2 rollers and find the angle gamma that it makes with the horizontal when the system is in equilibrium.

Assume that the string is inextensible and passes freely through slots in the smooth inclined plane.

alpha  = 30 degrees,  P = 267 N, Q = 445 N

yup rite

Triplet carbenes have two unpaired e- , one in  sp2 & one in p orbital......there is only one non bonding e- ......so less repulsion...n more stable

Singlet Carbenes have 2  non bonding e-, one in non bonding sp2 orbital  & the other in empty p orbital..so more repulsion n hence less stable

@ 1st ques........yupp kash123 is correct

initially assuming that the block of mass 10 kg moves downward

accn of 10 kg mass = a2

accn of 5 kg mass = a1

we get a1 = 3a2

solve the eqs :

10g - 3T = 10a1/3

T- 5g = 5a1

a1 = - 3g/ 11 which means its accn is downwards

a2 = - g/11 upwards

@ 2nd ques ...same ans as khushi12...

a1 ( mass 10kg) = 3g/5 downward

a2(mass 5 kg) = 3g/10 upward

is it rite????
