In this when  cyclist will take the turn then what will be the direction of normal reaction.

I mean will normal reaction be perpandicular to the surface or along the cycle...........i.e inclined.

This will Mess With Your Head.

3 MEN GO INTO A HOTEL.

THE MAN BEHIND THE DESK SAID THE ROOM IS $30

SO EACH MAN PAID $10 AND WENT TO THE ROOM.

A WHILE LATER THE MAN BEHIND THE DESK REALIZED THE ROOM WAS ONLY $25

SO HE SENT THE BELLBOY TO THE 3 GUYS' ROOM WITH $5.

ON THE WAY THE BELLBOY COULDN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO SPLIT $5 EVENLY BETWEEN 3 MEN,

SO HE GAVE EACH MAN A $1 AND KEPT THE OTHER $2 FOR HIMSELF.

THIS MEANT THAT THE 3 MEN EACH PAID $9 FOR THE ROOM, WHICH IS A TOTAL OF $27

ADD THE $2 THAT THE BELLBOY KEPT = $29.

WHERE IS THE OTHER DOLLAR?

Transistor is very small device and used when small increase in voltage or current is required like in micro amperes.
Transformer is used when we deal with voltages and currents.

Their constrauction is also different.

Yes it can be used as diode if you join   base and emitter and make them one end of the diode and collector as other end.

As distance b/w object and screen is x it means disstance b/w object and image is x.

Use these two equations and solve
v + u =x
v/u =m
Now find u and v in terms of x and m , then solve by using lens formula.

As rolling motion is translatory + rotatory motion.
So velocity of point of contact is zero  means any point of the rolling body that comes in contact with surface has zero velocity beacuse at this point velocity due to  tranlatory motion and rotatory motion are in opposite direction. so work done by frictional force is zero.

Please solve HC verma problem 85 and 86.

My concepts on conservation of angular momentum are not very clear so plz give me some tips.......

86. Solid sphere is set into motion on a rough surface with linear velocity v collides elastically witha fixed smooth vertical wall. Find the speed of the sphere after it had started pure rolling in the backward direction.

A ball falls on an inclined plane of inclination 45 degree. from a height 5m above the point of impact and makes an inelastic collision. Where will it hit the plane.
Where coeffient of restitution e=3/4.

Solution posted by Ramayani and rhd is correct but why cann't i use conservation of momentum in initial and final situation.

Secondly after first shot velocity of 49m mass should be v= 200/49 and not zero.
So if we apply conservation of momentum now then
what shoulbe equation accoreding to me it should be

49m*200/49= 48v + m*(200-200/49).

Whats wrong with above equation.
