let A bomb of mass m is thrown vertically in the air ... it explodes into two equal parts when its velocity is 21m/sec. If one part moves upto the height of 40m from the pt. of explosion then what is the position of second part fom pt. of explosion.

As f=70v,
so retardation a=(f/m)v,
a=dv/dt
dv/dt=fv/m
integrate it with proper limits
you will find t=100log2/7sec

As work done in close path is zero for conservative force.. so find close integeration of  F.dr if it comes to zero then force is conservative

Metthod  given by elessar is correct but smaller angle angle b/w two vector is 45 .... you can checkit by shifting vectors parallely and join their tails.......

If both rubber ball and metal ball hit the wall and bounce back then why change in momentum in rubber ball is more than change in momentum of metal ball.

Two identical trains a and b are moving with different velocities such that vel. of a is greater than vel. b. Now a packet is thrown out from train a to train b. and from b to a both packets have same mases. now which train will accelerate .
