hmm.. your iit rank will give you a seat in roorkee maybe.. but cse in pilani is better anyday.

take it without thinking any more. cse in pilani is about the same as cse in iit kharagpur or iit maybe madras.

• B. Tech in Manufacturing Science and Engineering and M. Tech in Industrial Engineering and Management (in collaboration with Department of Industrial Engineering and Management)

yup.. trying to help.. plus i also didnt think that if help in binomial theorem was reqd.. then it would be pretty difficult to try and understand elementary number thory.. im not too familiar with goldbacks conjecture either..

i conserved energy.

my theory is that if the spheres should touch at the end.. then that means that after touching they will move apart.

for them to move apart, the final energy of the system must be positive. negative final energy means a bounded system, and we dont want that.. so i thought this was worth a try.

i knew ofcourse that my reason does not explain how they touch each other.. but i was just hoping that the question wnated us to assume what i assumed..

now we can expand this binomailly

we find that the numerator has 50 terms, and out of them , all except the last term, which is =   1 x 5 is NOT a multiple of 13..

so the remainder is 5.

try doing all this on paper and you will see that it makes sense. reading it here may seem i little scary.
