Basket of Currencies- In this system the exchange value of country's currency is fixed, taking into account the then prevailing parity values of some major international units of currency. This system is being applied to the Indian rupee since 1975. The Indian baskets includes US Dollar, Japanese Yen, British Pound, and European Unions' Euro.
Buffer Stocks- These are stocks built up to iron out fluctuations of supply and therefore of prices in industries producing primary products capable of being stores such as buffer stocks of food grains. .
Bullion- it refers to gold and silver of a recognized degree of purity. Generally, it is in the form of gold and silver bars.
