There are different formulas available for calculating Vrms like root(3RT/M)and root(3P/d) but smtimes ans comes by applying only one of the formulas..Please tell when to apply which formula to calculate Vrms.

use the sqrt ( 3RT /M ) one bcoz. rms depends only on the temperature , change in pressure may also apply a proportional change in density , ( which may not be accounted for) , so use the first one.
