The change in free energy accompanied by the isothermal reversible expansion of

1 mol of an ideal gas when it doubles  its volume is (delta) G1. The change in free

energy accompanied by sudden isothermal irreversible doubling  of volume of 1

mole of the same gas is (delta)G2. Ratio of  (delta)G1 to (delta)G2 is

A)  1

B)   0.5

C)   1

     D) -0.5

Plz. solve rates are assured for correct ans + proof
