India's second-largest mobile phone operator Reliance Communications has launched Nokia's Ovi Life Tools services for its customers, the companies said in a joint statement.

Ovi Life Tools is a set of mobile information services, covering crop prices, education, health advise and entertainment.

Indian mobile carriers are focusing on growing their data businesses which gives them higher margins than the traditional voice businesses, but currently contributes just over 10 percent of their revenues.
