Mr Narendra Singh has been appointed Chairman and Managing Director of Bank of Maharashtra (BoM) with effect from February 1, 2012. He has been Executive Director of Corporation Bank since December 7, 2009.

Mr Singh will report to the Head Office of Bank of Maharashtra on Tuesday and start getting acquainted with his new assignment.

Born on September 11, 1953, he started his professional career as an officer with Allahabad Bank in 1980 and became General Manager in 2005 before joining Corporation Bank as Executive Director.
