hi i am in 11th and preparing for iit.i was very good in first 4 months and topped every test in my coaching institute but now i m failing very badly and my teathers think that i m not paying attention.this discourages me and i m now thinking of aieee .plz help
also could u also tell me wich book should be followed for clearing concepts and objective problems for competions of all 3 subjects .
What you are saying is actually what happened with me once, I was new to FIITJEE and my professors were very impress ed with me and my performance till 3 months.
I won't say that I topped the class but I came 3rd twice in my class and once 2nd.
My professors said that "I was one of the best students of my class"
But soon my performance started dipping down and the reason behind that was not my concentration drop or say my hardwork. The reason was I gave the same effort that I was giving from last 3 months.
And as the difficulty of the topics were increasing , hours of studying were needed to be increased too.
So when increased the "EFFORT" I started excelling again.
And even my teachers gave me some pinching and discouraging words but they were not for "getting discouraged and leave the hope for getting into IIT" But those words were for you to "WAKE UP FROM YOUR SLEEP"
OK, So now your main aim should be putting more effort than before and also try getting up in your class"
Good one Nikhil. Yes as time goes one should start giving more hours to studies. Upto January of 12th I never thought that I could clear JEE but also I never though that I can't clear JEE. Giving up is the ultimate tragedy and the game is not over till it's over. Never give up and always aim for JEE. After giving tests don't just put the papers in any corner of your room. Go through them and learn from mistakes.
