This will Mess With Your Head.
3 MEN GO INTO A HOTEL.
THE MAN BEHIND THE DESK SAID THE ROOM IS $30
SO EACH MAN PAID $10 AND WENT TO THE ROOM.
A WHILE LATER THE MAN BEHIND THE DESK REALIZED THE ROOM WAS ONLY $25
SO HE SENT THE BELLBOY TO THE 3 GUYS' ROOM WITH $5.
ON THE WAY THE BELLBOY COULDN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO SPLIT $5 EVENLY BETWEEN 3 MEN,
SO HE GAVE EACH MAN A $1 AND KEPT THE OTHER $2 FOR HIMSELF.
THIS MEANT THAT THE 3 MEN EACH PAID $9 FOR THE ROOM, WHICH IS A TOTAL OF $27
ADD THE $2 THAT THE BELLBOY KEPT = $29.
WHERE IS THE OTHER DOLLAR? |

see dude...................
the three men hav now 28$ (25+3) in all.....so each hav 28/3 = 9.333$
the boy has 2$....so for each men........it is 2/3 = 0.6666$
so,it adds up to give 10$ for each.....which is correct.........ur interpretation is wrong...........

you have to subtract 2 from 27 not add since the cost of the room has changed to 25dollars.if they get to know that the price has again changed to 30 dollars then they will pay 1 dollar each which will account to 30 dollars and then 2 dollars more that was kept by the bell boy.therefore we have subtract 2 dollars.

the point is tht the 2 dollars 2 as tip are included in the 27. hence, it is 27(paid) + 3 (received) tht is the total.

actually the room is 25$ this means each person paid 9 dollars each 9*3=27 and the bell boy is having 2 dollars 27-2=25 and the room is 25$

Simple,25$ for the 3 men;
the bellboy gives each of the men 1$ each,so 25+3=28$ and 2$ for the bellboy himself.
Thus 28+2=30$.
