f(x) = 1/2-xSo, y=f(f(f(x)))=(3-2x)/(4-3x)This is discontinuous when 4-3x = 0.So, y is discontinuous at x=4/3

 f(x) = 1/2-x

So, y=f(f(f(x)))=(3-2x)/(4-3x)

This is discontinuous when 4-3x = 0.

So, y is discontinuous at x=4/3

Ya obvoiusly 2 is the corrct answr. Bcz f is discontinous at 2 and composite of discontinous may not b continous, so first pnt of discontinuity is defintly 2. Sory m replyng aftr getting the answr. I ws also going with 4/3.....

Is it necessary that composite funcn will also be discontinuous at that point where the original funcn is discontinuous????

And how to proceed further by putting the func in the composite funcn.... Can anyone explain in detail by taking the example of the above question

sry, seems i made a mistake 2 is also an option along with 4/3 (typo in 1st post) , so for eg. if a question says no. of points of discontinuity then we should bubble 3 ( 4/3 , 2 3/2)
