Somewhere in my heart i have a feeling that this country is strange,
People help friends, and kill enemies,
who are all but the citizens of our mother earth.
We may be fighting wars with other countries but we are also in a war against poverty
While luxurious buildings spring up at a place, there is a dearth of houses in the other.
While biochemists are discovering new medicines, somewhere else new diseases are coming up.
We may boast that man has gone to the moon
but we need to be ashamed that he could not save millions of his brothers from poverty
There are droughts at many places and floods elsewhere
We may have the strongest nuclear weapons
but we may have the weakest citizens too.
Somewhere down my heart i feel that this country is strange.
COMMON ALL THE FUTURE CITIZENS OF INDIA LET US REALIZE THAT THE COUNTRY NEEDS OUR HELP.
LET US ALL TAKE A PLEDGE THAT WE WILL CONTRIBUTE OUR PART TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE COUNRTY AND THE WORLD.
